I am a 5'4" Defensive Midfielder from Cortez, CO. I have been playing with the Rio Rapids Club Durango Girls '06 team for the past seven years. Rio Rapids plays in the Girls Academy, USYSA National League, the USYSA National League Desert Conference, and locally in the Duke City Soccer League. As a member of the select high school girls team for Rio Rapids, we will only play tournaments in the fall. During my 2022 high school season for Montezuma-Cortez High School, we won our league and advanced to state playoffs in the 3A Southwest division. In 2023 we won our league again and advanced to the state playoffs a second time. This year, I was nominated for player of the year in the 3A Southwest division. I have a 3.95 cumulative GPA and I do not have an SAT score yet.
I am looking for a school where I can find a good balance between the field and classroom. I am seeking a university with a phenomenal reputation in the medical field or agricultural industry. The best fit athletic environment for me would be one where I could make a positive impact on the team and have the opportunity to learn new things on and off the field. I believe I would work best at the DII or DIII level.
