Rylee Cudney '23 Recruiting Profile

   The biggest accomplishment of my soccer career so far is being moved from the 4th team in my club to the top team because I decided to become a goalkeeper. When I first asked if I could play keeper my coach kicked a ball at my face. She said that she expected me to just deflect it in some way, but I caught it. That was when I knew I was meant to be a goalkeeper. I have now been playing as the top goalkeeper for Pride 05 ECNL since 2015. I am also the starting goalkeeper for the Lewis-Palmer high school varsity team. I have the highest save percent rate and the most total number of saves in the Pikes Peak 5A/4A league. I was Pikes Peak Athletic Conference's 1st team all-conference. I also played for the Pride Semi-pro team during the summer where I played and competed with D1 athletes.

    Some of my goals for college are playing at the highest level possible and being able to continue my career in soccer after college. I am a strong leader on and off the field. I also take constructive criticism well and am very coachable. I am different than other candidates because I will work no matter what the situation is. I am also an excellent student and will work in the classroom as hard as I work on the field.
