Sydney Elbaum '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Elbaum, soccer has been apart of my life since I was able to walk. I learned to love this sport through my family and friends. I have learned a lot about myself by playing soccer. I have learned to push myself to conquer my goals in life and in soccer, I have also learned personal skills that I use everyday, from being on the pitch. My academic goals for high school are to bring my grades up to the best that they can be, for my second semester of my junior year, and for my senior year. I have had to overcome many obstacles to get to where I am right now. It was hard to be a soccer and football player my freshman year, and balance my grades as well. I overcame this by eventually deciding that even though it was an incredible experience to be able to kick for my school's football team, I decided that it was time to focus strictly on soccer and academics. I love to try new things, and I would say I am a very outgoing and hard working individual.
