Adriana Melaragno '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, my name is Adriana Melaragno, and I am a part of the 2023 graduating class of Watertown High School in Watertown, CT. I have been playing varsity soccer since my freshman year. Next year, I have been selected by my teammates and coaches to be one of the captains for our team. I have been playing soccer since the age of 5, and have played competitive travel soccer starting at the age of 8. I transitioned to premier level soccer at the age of 10 and have been playing for CFC Valley for the past 5+ years. Soccer is my favorite sport, my favorite hobby and truly means everything to me. Soccer has been a huge part of my whole life, with soccer I've met many people including some of my best friends. While I'm not training or playing soccer I am teaching soccer. I am an active volunteer for the Sun, Moon, and Stars, children on the Autism Spectrum in Watertown, CT. When I volunteer, I get to work with children and teach them the love of my favorite sport, it’s rewarding to be a part of the beginning of their soccer career. Aside from soccer, education is very important to me. In high school, I currently have a 3.7 GPA and have made honors every semester throughout high school. In college, I want to pursue exercise science or education. I hope to find a college that is the perfect fit for me both academically and athletically!
