At a young age I watched my sister, who is six years older than me, play the game of soccer. Her dedication and tenacity influenced me to follow in her footsteps and also play the sport. Through my nine years of playing organized soccer (rec, club, and high school) the sport has taught me many life lessons. I have learned to set goals, and more importantly give full effort in anything I do, whether that is in the classroom or on the soccer field.
While my older sister's soccer career ended when she graduated from high school, I have made it my personal goal to play this sport at the next level. As the daughter of a career Marine Corps Officer, I understand that nothing worth having will ever be easy. I believe my personal work ethic, positive mental attitude, and my desire to leave it all on the field will be an asset to any collegiate program. Over the next couple years I plan to continue to develop physically and mentally, as a student, a soccer player, and a leader...through hard work and total dedication I believe I will make this goal a reality!
