My name is Cayden Townley and I am a Junior at Dawson County High School. I began playing soccer at 8 years old at my local rec department. I have played club soccer for 7 years and currently play for UFA- Forsyth on the ECNL-Regional Team where I am a Captain and regularly stay on the field for the entire game. For the 2021-22 school year I played on our school's Junior Varsity team as an eighth grader. Then for 2022-23 school year as a Freshman, I started at Right Center Back on my high school's Varsity soccer team, and earned the honor of 7-AAA All Region 1st Team. Over the years I have earned nicknames such as "Rhino", "The Great Wall", and once had a coach comment "I love to watch you play because when you step on the field you are out for blood." I only know one speed and that is full throttle. I love to play soccer, and I play fast and hard, with a “won't quit” mentality. My heart is playing defense but have risen to the challenge when my coaches have asked for versatility on occasion. I work hard on the field as well as in the classroom and currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I look forward to opportunities to play soccer at the next level while also furthering my education.
