Ava Holmes '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, Coaches! My name is Gray Holmes and I am a class of 2025 recruit out of Savannah, Ga. I've played soccer my entire life and it has always been my dream to continue playing the sport I love at a collegiate level. When in college, my goal is to be the best player I can while continuing to push myself and my teammates at a high level, academically and athletically. I am a center defensive midfielder, but I'm pretty versatile, and will play wherever I fit best. I am also open to playing as a defender, and watching collegiate film, that's where I believe I will fit on most teams. All of the coaches I have played under have told me that I am a coachable and hard working player, and I want to uphold those expectations throughout the rest of my life. I am currently attending St. Andrew’s, a collegiate preparatory school that offers the International Baccalaureate program. I am a full IB diploma candidate, and throughout my freshman and sophomore years have maintained high honors, ending with a 4.0 both years. While doing so, I have managed to not only play soccer (club and school), but also basketball, volleyball, flag football, and running track.
