My name is Owen Baillie. I have been playing soccer since age 4. Along with attending and earning a degree from a 4 year college or university, my goal is to play soccer competitively at the highest level possible.
I have had the privilege of living and playing in many different places including a total of 6 years abroad in Leicestershire, UK and Shanghai, China. Additionally, I have trained and competed in Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa and in U.S. states Minnesota and Georgia. While living in Rochester, Minnesota some highlights included my U13 Classic 1 team winning the State Championship in Fall 2015. I made the '03 Olympic Development State Pool in the Spring of 2015 and '03 ODP Regional Showcase traveling to Ohio in June 2016. I played both forward and midfield positions.
Currently, I live in Savannah Georgia and attend St. Andrews School. I made my Varsity Soccer Team in 8th Grade starting right midfield. I continue to play starting center attacking midfield for varsity, I have made All Region and I am captain. Maintaining my high GPA, continuing to volunteer in my community, joining some additional school clubs and earning an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma are among my academic goals while attending high school. I also play starting Center Attacking Midfield for my club team Savannah United U18/U19 Competing in Georgia Premier League (GPL). Most recently I made the Florida Elite ECNL 2003 team.
I have enjoyed the adventures and challenges of moving to new places. They have shaped the student athlete I am today. I have been fortunate to share my capabilities and enthusiasm with talented teammates and coaches over the years. It is continually rewarding to grow, learn, attend ID camps and remain a strong competitive player.
