Laina Jumawan '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing socccer when I was only five.  I loved it from the very beginning, it has been challenging at times but I am very passionate about soccer and always look forward to the challenge.   I am constantly looking to be a contributor to my team and to represent my school, community and family is a real honor. I’ve met so many people that have assisted me in my journey and encouraged me to keep striving and believing in myself.  I am so grateful and blessed to my team, coaches, friends and family.  Soccer has taught me many skills that I apply in my daily life like being a team player, self-motivated worker and to be organized. I am so excited and hope to be able to earn a scholarship to a school with an amazing and strong soccer team to become a family and continue to strive to better myself, as a player and person and to continue to represent and give back are my goals.
