Winning the Disney Showcase twice, once as a freshman and once as an eighth grader, was a highlight of my soccer career. However, I feel I have grown the most as a player by being the youngest on my team. This has helped me grow not only as a player but as a person. Being the youngest on the team has given me older and more experienced players to play with and learn from to improve my capability of playing a strong center/outside defender at the college level. It also helps push me to continue to grow, become a better player, and step up as a leader when put on a team with girls the same age as me.
I began playing soccer at the age of three and fell in love with it ever since. I am lucky enough to be part of a team that is fifth in the state of Illinois and a State Cup finalist. Throughout my years of playing soccer, I have learned the importance of teamwork, commitment, trust, leadership, and responsibility. I am looking for a program that will suit me academically and athletically. I believe I have the strength, talent, and leadership skills to make a great impact on your program.
