My Name is Norma Gricelda Ortiz and i’m currently 17 years old. I attend to Benito Juarez Academy High School at Chicago in Pilsen. When i first found out i like soccer was way back when i saw 6 when i first went to my first soccer game ever. I‘m so in love with the sport that i started playing at home and once my parents seen me they were in shocked, ever since than soccer has been my passion its just what i love doing the most. I started playing since 6 and since than i havent stopped i had a little injury were i hurt my knee a year ago but now im all good. Due to the pandemic ive been finding ways to stay track on soccer for example i go run every morning to stay in fit and always practice on my own touching ,passing ,shooting. My goal is to play soccer in college and focus on it, once I graduate in a couple months from high school i want to be able to play in college and keep practicing and practicing and getting better and better. I hope to find a coach and a team where i can go all out at it. What makes me a good candidate for the team is i’m always prepared and on time. No matter what happens if i make a small mistake i dont give up and keep going because if we do we will never learn from out mistakes. I’m a very sweet and socialize person and very outgoing. I really hope to be able to play for college with my best coach and my best team i hope to get the opportunity to get in and no matter what i know to mot give up and to keep trying, to believe in myself.
