Personal Statement

I have stuck with sports all my life, and while new to soccer, after just three regular high school seasons I am proud to say that I have earned a starting spot on my high schools boys varsity team, as a co-ed team is the only soccer team my school has. My passion and love for the sport is strong, and I can’t imagine my life without it. I work hard, in both soccer and academics. I thrive to better myself everyday, asking myself how to become better.

I have also had the opportunity to compete in two indoor soccer leagues over the winter. While it is different, it helped me keep up on my skills through the cold weather.

In addition to my aggressive sports nature, I have a good academic career as well. I am currently one of the top students in my class. I excel in my classes and try hard everyday. I believe my good grades and overall ability to balance activities, my aggression, and my never-quit attitude makes me a good applicant to play for your team!

Yes. Course Description: Advanced Biology is a continuation of Biology and is geared toward preparing students for collegiate level science classes. The course is divided into four subject areas: Botany, Microbiology, Zoology, and Ecology. Each quarter will focus on one of the aforementioned subjects. The course is taught through a combination of class readings, lecture, projects, and dissections, with an emphasis on the laboratory experience.
