Mia Backous '25 Recruiting Profile

I am excited about the opportunity play for a competitive college soccer team where I feel connected to the players, coaches, and community.  My preference would be to play at a Christian college, but I am not limiting my college search geographically or to only Christian colleges.  I want to be in the best environment to develop, contribute, and serve both on and off the field.  I am a very athletic striker with the speed to get behind most defenders and the ability to finish consistently.  I am also a track sprinter who has qualified for state in ten events and hold school records in seven different events.  This season I will be playing in the Girls Academy (GA) League for VSA Rush 06/07 (IA) in the Midwest Conference.

Academically, I am ranked #1 in my class and am interested in a premed or biology program with the long-term goal of going into medicine.
