My name is Lillie Mazur. I am a 2022 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High school from Houma, Louisiana. I have been playing club soccer for six years, and high school soccer for four years. The friends and coaches I have met along the way have always pushed me and encouraged me to do my best. With the strive for success, I want to further my mental and physical game to the next level. I am a very hard working and competitive athlete who never gives up. I look forward to challenging myself and growing both within and out of the game. I am coachable and love constructive criticism. I’m a team player and I always put academics first. I am also a very involved student and balance soccer with school as well as other extracurricular activities. I would love the opportunity to play college soccer.
Scoring a penalty kick after double over time as an eighth grader in the LHSAA State Championship is the most rememberable highlight of my soccer career. Also playing in the State Championship again the following year is a close second. These experiences have helped me handle pressure and grow as an athlete capable of playing at the college level.
I am fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, winning two State Runner-Ups and State Semi Finalists the last three years. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership through out my seasons. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport, four year letter athlete, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
