Since I was young, playing college soccer has always been one of my goals. Having the opportunity to play the sport I love, while continuing my education and finding a career is one of my most important goals in life.
Everyday I work hard to improve my skills and become a better soccer player. If that means running on the beach early in the morning on my vacation or in the evening at the end of a busy day, I’ll do it. My excellent ball handling skills are a result of hard work and practice; those skills combined with my speed on the field set me apart from other players. I always motivate my teammates to give their all and encourage them to keep giving their best when they are tired or we are behind in the game. I’m a very coachable player, always listening to and implementing my coach’s advice. My goal is to always be the hardest working player when I step onto any field.
As a student, I have the same positive attitude. I give my best effort in every class and work hard to maintain a good GPA taking honors classes. In addition to being a two year varsity soccer player, I am a member of Student Government Association and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I am currently working on completing my lifeguard certification so that I can work as a lifeguard next summer at my local pool. I am also applying for and hoping to be selected as a member of the FARE National Teen Advisory Board.
College will be a chance for me to grow as a soccer player, while being able to pursue an education that prepares me for my future career. I am hoping to find the right fit for me, a college that gives me the opportunity to do both. I am open to all options.
