My character was crafted and molded with a unique perspective on life. I was taught to be versatile, be different, and take charge of every possible opportunity I am presented with. Being the youngest of 3, and the only girl, I have always felt I had to establish my position among my brothers. It taught me how to be confident and assertive, but also taught me to approach every situation with grace, elegance and finesse. Playing soccer for 7 years, running track for 2, and dancing for 3, I became a very competitive player.
I am a leader on my team. A strong work ethic, discipline and trustworthiness are all qualities exhibited by a leader. A leader is someone who puts the needs of others at the same level or higher than their own to help achieve a greater goal. This takes discipline and commitment to the whole team. A leader is a person who leads by example, and is always striving to be at a higher level. A strong work ethic is a value leaders have, as a model to the team. Leaders notice that everyone is not the same, but all can reach the same collective goals. This allows people to trust you. Whether the introverts who lock their talents away until they find comfort with something or someone, or the extroverts who love to be seen and are comfortable with presenting themselves all the time, a leader knows how to make everyone feel comfortable and helps everyone live up to their potential.
