Since I was 5 years old, my passion has always been soccer. Over the years I ran track, played lacrosse, and still play varsity basketball for high school today, but the one thing thats always been consistent is my love for soccer. I love that I am never bored playing soccer because the game is in constant motion so you have to be focused and thinking ahead every second. I love that it is the ultimate team sport where we have to push and support each other to improve everyday. And, I love having fun and building relationships with my teammates on and off the field. I am excited about what the future brings, playing in Spain in March, continuing to play in college and hopefully after college as well.
I don't consider myself a "flashy" player and am interested in a school that will appreciate all the little things I do on and off the field to help the team. I have been fortunate to be the leading goal scorer on my team 2 of the last 3 years and top 3 the other year, but almost all my goals come from pass and move soccer as an attacking midfielder. It's always a great feeling to score a goal, but my priority has always been on trying to be a complete player and winning as a team. My dad had coached me for many years when I was younger and I believe it’s helped me have a better understanding of the game as I was taught to play every position at an early age. Some coaches like me at forward because of my speed, but I have more fun being on both sides of the ball, breaking lines off the dribble and connecting passes to move the ball as a team.
Off the field I am interested in a school that will support and challenge me academically with an active and fun campus! I'd like to be part of a school that has majors I am interested in and help me be well rounded and prepared for life after college. I know the right college is out there, but for now I am just enjoying the process and trying to get a little better each day.
