My name is Ashley Schwartz and I am a 5’5 defensive midfielder from Sykesville, Maryland. I play for Coppermine Soccer Club on the Elite 64 team. I have been starting on Liberty High School‘s varsity team since sophomore year. Sophomore year I also made the second team all-county and scored the game winning goal to advance my team to the regional semi-finals- that we then went on to win. All of this accomplished while maintaining a 4.36 unweighted gpa, ranked 27/234 in my class, and taking Honors and AP classes. I have also been recognized as a leader at my high school by being appointed to Sources of Strength which is a suicide prevention and help group. Not everyone can sign up, teachers must nominate you. Along with that I am apart of my Student Government program and my school’s National Honors Society.
I am looking for a bigger school that has a Sports Management program and a sports program that competes in the NCAA- any division. Athletically I want to play at the highest level possible and play where I will make the biggest impact for the team. Overall, I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically.
