Heidi Menadue '27 Recruiting Profile

NEFC '09 GA: My name is Heidi Menadue and I am a 2 year varsity starter and 15 year old Sophomore at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, MA. I love playing with new and older players that will test my skills, strength and mental/ tactical knowledge. We are one of the top teams in the state. I am so proud of our 17-2-2 record last year finishing as a Massachusetts state MIAA playoff tournament, FINAL FOUR team and this year as an Elite 8 team with a record of 15-5-1.  My club team is NEFC GA 09 and I have made the 2009 ODP team the last 2 years.    

I have learned first hand how to accomplish my goals through hard work and perseverance.  I am learning to focus on those things that I can control like pushing myself outside of my comfort zone & training outside of weekly practices with private & group sessions, Futsal, as well as working at home. I have grown mentally and physically.   I am able to perform at any outside back or midfield position on both left & right sides.  In the past I have played L&R Wingback in my club & High School and my strengths include supporting my teammates with accurate passing, defensive strength on the ball and remaining calm under pressure to make the right decisions.  Although I have been a defensive player I understand and want to be a part of a successful offense.   I am not afraid to advance the ball forward and provide my teammates with crosses/through balls & rebounding shots that can lead to goals.  I have set goals for myself this year to work on;  1. My offensive presence, 2. 1v1's, 3. Speed/Endurance and 4. Scoring/Assisting.

I understand the importance of prioritizing and balancing what is important.  Family, School, Soccer, & Friends.  I have been able to accomplish my goals so far while remaining close with my family and friends.  

My long term goal is to find a D1 women's soccer team that is a great fit for the school and myself.
