Hello, my name is Lexi Kelepouris and I will graduate in 2027. I play for FC Stars 2009 Blue Regional ECNL, where I have played for the past 7 years and I am an outside back. I love to be aggressive and close down space as quickly as I can. I have been playing soccer from the moment I could walk. Soccer has been my passion and goal for the past 11 years of my life and still is. I have made countless friendships along the way, and I am very grateful for all the coaches who have made me the player I am today.
Now you may be asking, why should I ask her to be on my team? This is a very simple answer, I am a tactical defender who can read the game and make important tackles in the back. In addition one of my strengths is that I am a very coachable player, in the sense that when a coach suggests or makes a comment, I absorb it and am always open to trying it. As you may be wondering why I chose defense, to be honest, I just fell in love with the adrenaline that came along with making hard tackles in important situations. I also just felt that being on defense was overall just a better fit for me, as well as I consider myself a good passer who can go over the top, which makes me a good outside back.
Academically, I am a straight-A student, taking 2 honors classes along with a couple of CP classes. I am a student representative and also a member of my High School's Basketball team!
