I’ve been playing soccer since I was five years old and have been playing competitively at the Club Soccer level since I was seven. Soccer has become a huge part of my life and one of the things about which I am most passionate. Soccer has taught me many things, including the importance of hard work, commitment, determination and sportsmanship. I strive to demonstrate these qualities and values throughout my life, both on the field and off.
The thing I love most about soccer is being part of a team. I love working together with other players, creating trust among teammates and building a great team environment that leads to success on the field. I believe hard work is the most important aspect of the game. I always work hard in practices and games and give 100% out on the field. I love the competition of soccer and the way you’re always pushed to be your best. Playing college soccer has been a dream of mine for a long time. I know it will be difficult, but I’m ready to work hard for it.
Academics are also extremely important to me. My success in school comes from understanding the importance of having balance in my life. While I am constantly challenging myself with extra soccer training and conditioning above and beyond regular Club and High School practices, I have the time management skills to prioritize the things that are most important, so I can hopefully get into a university that is the best fit for me.
