I love being a part of a team, all throughout club teams and my high school team, it has been a great privilege having basically a second family. With me being captain this year, I love being like an older sister to the younger teammates. I've always had a passion for soccer with every person in my family being involved with the sport, has definitely been a positive influence for me.
Addressing the elephant in the room, my GPA is a bit of an eyesore. Like many people, I severely struggled my freshman year through Covid times and online learning. As you can see it has affected my GPA now. I have been working very hard to try and recover and make up for my freshman year, and slowly but surely it is paying off. My sophomore year I finished with a, 3.9 and have gotten honor roll every semester. In my Junior year I finished with a 4.0. I am looking forward to a strong Senior year with AP Biology and Honors English. In the first quarter of my senior year, I made honor roll. I will always work hard and give everything I've got in the classroom and on the field.
I am versatile in the sport; I can play most positions, but my main position is center-back defense. School soccer in my junior year was especially rewarding. I became a starter without being subbed, and at the end of the season I was one of the Cape and Islands all-star, honor roll athlete, and captain of Monomoy's varsity girls' soccer team. I found my passion. My senior year only intensified with passion and drive. We just finished our last regular season game and are 12-4-2. This is the best team Monomoy Reg. High has ever had. We are such a strong group together. Soccer is a major part of my life, and I cannot imagine my college career without it.
