Carter King '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Carter King and I am a 17 year old junior at Ipswich, MA High School.

My goal is to play high level college soccer. My love for soccer began at age 4 and continues to this day.  I started playing club soccer at the age of 8 years old.  Currently I play for the 2003 DPL Aztec Soccer club, and I am the captain of the Ipswich Varsity Girls Soccer team.  I am a starting forward on both teams.  I also play attacking Center Midfield.  I have been named MVP of my team for the past two years. Also, I have been named Conference All Star, and Eastern Massachusetts All Star for the past two years. 

What separates me from other players is my advanced skills and high soccer IQ.  I am a complete soccer player who excels at all four main areas of the game – Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological.  I have tremendous ability to control the ball under pressure, to turn and take players on 1v1, to hold the ball and distribute, and I possess a powerful, accurate shot. I am extremely coachable and I have a great understanding of the game.  My decision making, speed of play, and movement off the ball is decisive and quick. Physically I am extremely strong on the ball, and in transitional play.  My endurance is also excellent. I have proven that I can maintain composure and succeed in high pressure situations and games. I am a positive, encouraging teammate that has a strong desire to win.
