Ava Pinto '26 Recruiting Profile

As a junior in high school, I'm looking to play at a college that fits me academically and athletically. I need to find the right fit to balance both and positively develop into working towards my MSN or NPL down the road. I bring many skills like dedication, competitiveness, and team spirit to the field. Academically, I push myself above and beyond my peers. As I continue through high school, I hope to keep taking high-level classes while continuing to set goals for my future. Athletically, I'm looking to showcase my energy and effort on and off the field, while demonstrating my character as a person, with the people around me. Some examples of how I represent myself include leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positivism to create a successful environment. One of my biggest strengths is being a left-footed player. Being left-footed eventually made me realize the advantages I have against my right-footed peers and is a great reason for my success. I take advantage of the chance to be different and use it against people, as it comes unexpectedly and not to everyone. As I've further strengthened my abilities with my foot, I continue to use it to my advantage and become increasingly dangerous on the field when teams are not expecting it.
