Meghan Murphy '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Meghan Murphy.  I am a junior at Methuen High School in Methuen, MA.  I am 5’5” and 140 lbs.  On the field I am a very aggressive player and quick on my feet.  One of my accomplishments in my soccer career is that I have been on my school’s varsity team throughout my high school years.  My goal is to play college soccer at a school where I can compete on the field and also get a good education so I can prepare myself for life after college.  I believe that the skills and lessons learned in playing soccer, like commitment and teamwork will help me succeed as an athlete and a student.  Both on and off the field I am a strong leader and a very hard working person.  As a freshman I played outside midfield but then during my sophomore and junior years of high school I played the role of right defensive back.  My athletic goal is to make a big impact on any team that I am a part of.  I promise that I will do my best and will be a great asset to your team.
