*Torn ACL and meniscus in August 2023. Got cleared to play games and participate in high intensity settings (as of June 1st).
I've been an athlete since I could walk and after trying out several sports I landed on soccer. Since the day I touched a soccer ball, I've been extremely committed to being the best player I could be. I've been competing in club soccer since 5th grade when I was only 11 years old on a u14 team competing at a high level. I've continued to play for some incredible clubs and started to varsity on my high school team. I love being a leader and making waves for any team I join. My dreams of playing collegiate soccer have only made me a better player and, especially, a better person. Soccer has brought me so many connections that I will cherish forever and I'm always looking forward to meeting new individuals who share the same passion.
In the classroom, I work hard to maintain a high GPA and join several clubs. I'm a part of the National Honors Society, World Language National Honors Society, A World of Difference (AWOD), and Friendship Club. In addition, I produce a student-run pregame show (titled "NHS TV Pregame Live") with two other NHS students that is aired on the local news station. One of my favorite classes is TV and Media because I love creating new content for my community. I've won both TV2/Sophomore and TV3/Junior Rising Star along with other notable awards as the result of my work.
Outside the soccer field and classroom, I enjoy listening to my favorite music artists, attending concerts, taking pictures for/of my community with my Canon camera, and spending time with my amazing family. During high school, I found another passion of mine, TV and media! Thanks to my incredible TV teacher I've traveled to places as far as California and as close as Boston for my TV productions and projects. I recently got a Canon camera to capture moments from my community, such as graduation day and senior nights for my school sports teams.
Overall, I'm extremely passionate, giving 100% to everything I do. This translates in and outside the classroom, especially the soccer field (or futsal court). I'm open to exploring new places and communities to make sure I find the right home for my years in College. Every day I will work hard to ensure that I find my home for the next four years while also playing the sport I love.
