Lexi Rais '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches and recruiters, My name is Lexi Rais, a future Saugus High School 2023 graduate. I am a very dedicated individual, athlete and student. I will always give 110% effort to every aspect in my life even on the bad days. I am always committed to my work, work ethic, team, training and anything I do, I'm always working to get one percent better everyday. My thought process is when you think your at your best remember there is someone else working harder than you to be better than you.  I accept all challenges and obstacles head on and I'm a believer "the hard we do right away the impossible just takes more time".

I've been playing soccer for 12 years now and I've always loved the sport. I feel in my heart the second my feet touch the field or the ball I always feel like the real me and that I am unstoppable out there. Soccer has driven me to be better and better every day and I continue to work hard at getting better everyday. Every time I touch a ball I have the determination to try and learn something new, or progress in something I'm not strong in. I have a real desire to play college ball and be part of a successful college team and program, I also have the same desire to go far in life with my academics and chosen professional field. 

I believe I would make a good candidate for any team because I will always give my best effort, work well with others, and take a leadership role in the things I do both on and off the field. I am outgoing and prideful and will do my best to put a smile on another teammates face and cheer them up if they are down but also would be willing to step up and tell a teammate they need to work harder. I would beside them and train with them to help them achieve what ever goals they set and I would approach those things in the best way possible and always be kind about it. 

I take pride in my school work as well, I always stay after for extra help, and I'm not afraid to ask questions if I have them if it means it can help me learn new things, I care about my grades very much and always try to bring them to the best they can be everyday and never think of them as a joke or something that does not matter in my life.
