Lauren Yokell '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Yokell, I am a rising senior at Somerset Berkley Regional High School.  I have been a member of my high school soccer team since freshman year.  I have played on the varsity team since sophomore year and was a starter during junior year.  Our school plays in Division 2 of the MIAA.  I began paying soccer at the age of 5 and fell in love the first time my foot touched the ball.  I have also played club soccer since the age of 8.  My current club team is Juventus Academy Boston - EDS.   I train and play with my club team during the winter.  My dream is to be able to continue my soccer career at the college level.

Education is important to me and I work hard to do well in school.  I have made the Honor Roll every single term since freshman year.  I am very interested in science and the medical field.  I hope to major in Biology but am still not 100% sure.   I have volunteered at our local hospital and have found the experience to be both rewarding and educational. 

My biggest strengths as a player are my speed, endurance, passing ability, teamwork and coachability.  My favorite part of any day is when I can put on my kit and cleats and play the beautiful game of soccer.  I hope to find a college where I can continue to grow as both a student and athlete.
