Personal Statement

Hi my name is Catherine Wolf and I come from a small town with a growing soccer program. In 2019, I played on the junior varsity team. In 2020, I played on the junior varsity and the varsity team. In 2021 and 2022, I was a starter on the varsity team where I played both of the 40-minute halves. Since, 2019, I have played 5 indoor club seasons, one outdoor club season with Red Wing 16U and currently playing an outdoor club season with Red Wing 18U. Since I was younger, soccer has always been a highlight in my life, and I hope to play in college. When practicing, I always give my 100% so I can be at the top of my game. I believe the work you put in determines how well you succeed in both school and sports. I can prioritize and balance both sport and academics making sure I succeed in both. I love being out of the field and even if it doesn't come with a win, I am positive because I will always be grateful for the experience I got from that game or practice.

Minnesota Soccer Camps ID Camp Session 2
7/16/22 to 7/17/22
The ID Camp is geared towards players who want to play at the college level. GKs & field players will get to go through sessions that we actually run with our college team that will give them insight into some of the technical & tactical aspects that really get focused on at that next level. These players will also get an opportunity to go through some work with our strength & conditioning staff on the field and learn about the importance of preparing and taking care of their bodies as they pursue playing in college. Our campers will also get an opportunity to participate in a mental conditioning session where they get exposed to the intentional focus that gets put into developing the mental side of an athlete that is critical to their success. There will be opportunities to play full-sided games as well as an opportunity to learn more about the recruiting process, what it's like to be a college athlete, and an opportunity to tour a bit of campus and the athletic facilities. This camp is designed to give our campers a brief look at what it's like to be a college soccer player.
