My name is Emma Kate "EK" Uithoven, I’m a 2021 outside back for my club team Alabama FC ECNL U18/19 in Birmingham, AL. I play forward for my High School team Lamar School in Meridian, MS. We have won the State Championship 3 out of the last 4 years. This year we lost in the finals. I had 15 goals and 2 assist this season. I was a Team Captain in the 2019 fall season and have recently been selected Captain for the 2020 fall season. I'm first and foremost a very family-oriented person. My parents are very supportive and are always there for me. I also have a very close relationship with my grandparents. I am very devoted to my schoolwork hoping to major in physical therapy. I have been on the honor roll since my 7th-grade year. I have a 3.93 GPA and I am taking AP courses again this year. My goal is to play college soccer. I am very devoted to making this happen. I go to the weight room 3 times a week in the off-season and as much as I can during the season. I run on my own and I am not afraid to work hard and put in extra practice. I'm very committed and don't want to be outworked by anyone. My ECNL club team is 2 and a half hours from my home and we practice there 2 times a week. I have been committed to doing this for the last four years.
