The highlight of my tennis career thus far has been winning the Mississippi State High School Championship 2019 in my school's division for Number 1 Girls singles. I had been a Finalist the two previous years, my 8th and 9th grade years. It was so gratifying to finally win as a Sophomore! I have been playing USTA tournaments since I was age 7 and I enjoy competitive tennis and high school tennis also. I have played on the high school varsity team since 7th grade as Mixed Doubles, then I was placed as number 1 singles in 8th grade. I want to continue my tennis career in college so that I can continue feeling competitive and athletic once I move away from home. I plan also to receive my yoga teacher certification this August and will start teaching here in Meridian and will continue teaching yoga in college. I feel my best when I am exercising with others and enjoy team sports in all varieties. I am also on the High School Varsity Girls Golf Team and Varsity Volleyball Team. In addition, I play on the Queen City Royals Club Volleyball team, competing in volleyball tournaments on the weekends when I don't have tennis tournaments. I hope you will consider me as a competitive player on your team who will make strong friendships with my teammates and add to the positive team spirit of the team!
