I have playing soccer ever since I was 4, and I have had a love of it since. Not only do I love the sport itself, but I love meeting new people through it. I love the feeling of not only making yourself better, but helping better the players around me. To me, assisting your teammate is just not, if more exciting than scoring yourself. Throughout my soccer career I have played multiple positions and eventually found myself as a primary forward. During the 2016 spring State Cup I played as an outside defender, which was my position the next season after. One of my favorite soccer memories is State Cup, it is an absolutely unforgettable experience that I will never forget, even though we were knocked out the first weekend.
In soccer or any sport for that matter I always wanna work harder than everyone in practice, and I always wanna get along with my team and make new friends. I encourage people around me to do their best and work their hardest, because the way you practice really does affect the way you play. Throughout my soccer career I have dramatically increased my ability to use my left foot, and even though I am right foot dominate I heavily rely on my left foot and use it more than my right. This is all because once I started club I practiced with my left foot all the time, knowing it would be very crucial to my game.
During school, I study and work hard to maintain a high gpa, and even having soccer I still find time to complete my homework. My education is very important to me, as a sophomore I have gotten all A’s my first semester, along with all A’s my freshmen year. I have always had a goal to be in the top 10% in my graduating class, and to do this I really need to focus on keeping my grades at A’s throughout all of highschool. During college I plan to work for my Bachelor’s degree, and hopefully I can achieve a lifetime goal of mine by playing college soccer.
