My love for soccer started when I was very young, sitting on the sideline watching my sister play. In elementary school we played a lot of soccer, my goal was always to be the best on the field. From that, I discovered my competitive drive to be the best I possibly can be. It also showed me compassion for the sport and the love of being a part of a team. I continue to surprise myself each season with how hard I can push myself to improve, and I want to keep doing so by continuing my soccer career to the collegiate level
Winning the 2019 Midwest regional championship has been the highlight of my soccer career. Then, winning the NPL Central States conference to go on to play at the Girls 2019 NPL finals is a close second. These two tournaments showed me the importance of personal commitment and unity within my team. My freshman year at Parkway West High School on varsity we went 17-2, earning our team a conference title and 3rd place in our district. Soccer has always been one of the biggest parts of my life. My love, discipline, and drive for the game has provided me with many benefits in my academic career, especially in my honors and Ap courses . The lessons learned on the field, and my goal to keep pushing myself to constantly improve at the game has paved the way for how I handle myself in the classroom and in life in general.
I am excited to find a college that meets both my academic and athletic desires.
