My name is Olivia Elliott and I am a 5’6”, 135 lbs. attacking midfielder. I played club soccer for SJSC Premier for 5 years but had to leave due to moving away and starting High School. As a freshman I started as an offensive midfielder, was awarded 2nd Team All-League in the Kansas City - Atchison Conference, and was recognized as “Best Newcomer of the Year”. I was a part of the first all-women’s team at Atchison High School and witnessed the building of a new program first hand. It was an amazing experience of growth that helped me better understand the importance of team chemistry and how to improve it from scratch. This past year I transferred to Bishop LeBlond Memorial High School and started as an outside midfielder. During my Sophomore season I contributed to being runner-up district champs. I was also named First-Team All-District and First-Team All-City. Through the struggle of balancing the stress of transferring mid-semester, academics, and athletics the Bishop LeBlond Soccer Program has taught me better time management and the importance of prioritizing. Unfortunately my junior season was cancelled because of the pandemic outbreak.
I am searching for a college that fits me academically as much as it does athletically. I hope to join a program that not only fits my standards but encourages me to be better than I was the day before. I believe that not only do I have the basic talent to compete on a college team but also the genuine drive and work ethic to fill in what role is needed. I believe that through continuous experience I have the discipline, character, and leadership to fit perfectly with your team!
