Hello, my name is Emily Passini. I am going to be a junior in the class of 2022.
As a player, I would describe myself as a fierce, intelligent defender focused on the success of my teammates, as well as, on the development of myself as a soccer player. I use my experience and knowledge of the game in each play to fully support the success of my team. I have played with the same club soccer coach throughout my whole career pushing my teammates and myself to play our style of soccer and grow as a team. As an individual, I am a confident, skilled player that uses my strengths, but am also focused on continuously improving to better myself. I make the best out of every situation through my strong work ethic and strive for excellence on and off the field. I’m looking to find a university that provides both a strong academic and athletic program that will be an overall good fit for me as a student-athlete.
I am different from other players because I never lack in pushing myself to be a better student, player, and person. I believe that the mistakes on the field don’t define me as a player, and I learn from the errors I make to improve myself as a whole. I also believe that the hard work you put in makes all the difference in execution. I set myself apart from other defenders by being able to play with the ball at my feet and to be an integral part of the offense, as well as the defense. I believe I have not only the skill but also the spirit and determination to play at the next level.
