Winning districts as a freshman and being the only freshman on Varsity has been the highlight of my high school soccer career so far. I have only been playing two years with this team, and I have learned a lot. I am always willing to listen and watch what others are doing to help me grow better as a person and as an athlete. I have also been given the opportunity to help lead my team. A lot of my teammates see me as a leader on as a center mid and off the field as a friend.
I have been given the opportunity to learn what it is like to not win every game. I went from being on a team that won almost every game and winning was everything, to a team comprised of players who are playing to just have fun, and it was a difficult task to overcome. I had to face it head on and adjust to it. I have learned that there are always going to be teams that are better then you, and as a player I just have to try my best and help the team try its best. I believe I have not only the athletic ability to play at the college level, but also the right attitude, personality, and work effort to make an impact on your program. As a player been playing since a young age and a four time captain, I believe I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
