Leslie Myrick '19 Recruiting Profile

    I originally started playing soccer about three years ago because I thought it would be a fun, new challenge and while I was not wrong, it has become much more than that for me.  Since that first year, soccer has went from just an enjoyable hobby to a lifelong passion. I believe that there is still  much for me to learn and that there always will be, but I am an incredibly fast learner not only on the field, but in the classroom as well. I have always pushed myself to take Honors and AP classes, so I am more than capable of keeping up with rigorous courses and a sport while maintaining a near-perfect GPA. 

    I am an aggressive player, I have a strong kick, and I can pass fairly accurately, but I pride myself most on my exceptional sportsmanship. It is important to me to always be respectful and have a positive attitude both on and off the field. My personal goal for collegiate level athletics is to work as hard as I can and give 110% for my team and coaches while getting a quality education.
