At a very young age I knew that soccer was my passion. Learning to set goals, overcome obstacles, and finding relationships with teammates and coaches made me love the sport. One of my biggest challenges was making the decision to leave a club I have been with for so many years, a team and coaches that were like family, to go to a my current club GEA and the ECNL league, to find a path that leads me to a higher standard in playing, and prepares me for the future. The process was hard, but I do not regret it.
I strongly believe that a team does not need to win a game in order for it to be a good game. As long as the commitment, work-ethic, responsibility, and leadership from each and every player is there, that is what the game is about. I am interested in a school not only athletically but academically. I hope to pursue both my sport and my learning. My ball control, passing , and soccer IQ would be great contributing factors to a college program, but most importantly, my desire to work hard, be a leader on the field, and make the most out of college soccer would make me a great candidate to be a part of a college soccer program.
