Throughout the remainder of my high school career, I want to focus on learning more about what I would like to pursue in college. As of now, I would love to be either a lawyer, astrophysicist, or architectural engineer. Although this may seem like a broad spectrum of careers, they catch my attention and I could see myself getting enveloped in learning more about them years from now. Not only do I see myself doing this, but I also picture myself playing soccer on a college team. I believe I would be a good candidate for a team because of how cooperative and flexible I am, especially when it comes to working with people in the same boat as me. I stand out as a recruit because of the unique features of my character. Not only am I kind to everybody, but I know how to make the right choices even when nobody it looking. I do not tolerate others believing that they can get away with messing around just because they believe that nobody is watching. Athletically, I am also an excellent recruit. I currently have the most amount of goals on my varsity high school soccer team, and am able to easily adapt to new positions. Like I said, this year, I am a very successful forward at the varsity level. However, last year as a freshman, I was the starting center midfielder for my high school’s JV team. Not only am I able to learn these new positions, but I think logically to find out the best ways to play these positions that I am placed in. As for academics, I attend the Marine Academy of Science and Technology, which is a very rigorous and academically demanding high school. Not only did I compete with other students in my county to get in, but all of the courses are taught at the honors and AP level, and you are required to maintain higher grades and work up to more impressive standards. Not only will this help prepare me by setting the bar high for college, but it also taught me how to be reliant on myself. . In college, you will not have your parents or siblings waiting on you, and MAST has prepared me by already forcing me to rely on myself. By attending the Marine Acadmey, but playing soccer at Red Bank Regional, I am already challenging myself more than any of the other girls on my team. Based on my character, as well as my academic and athletic features, I am definitely a highly reliable recruit for any college.
