Alessandra Castaneda '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Alessandra Castaneda and I attend Saint Dominic Academy in Jersey City, NJ. I am a part of the Class of 2024. I first started playing soccer when I was 5 year old and at age 7 I took on the position of goalie and have loved it ever since. Playing soccer at the college level has always been a dream of mine. This year I began playing for my new club team Paisley Athletic and recently 2 years ago I started playing on my high school varsity team. My sophomore year I earned an All-County Honorable Mention award and my junior year I earned All-Division . Ever since I was little soccer has always been a big part of life and it has taught me a lot of important lessons. One is to always be a team player and to encourage your teammates. Soccer has also taught me how to be a leader and how to be a strong player and to carry myself with confidence. I am a dedicated player and I am always striving to improve.
