I’m not going to talk about how many goals I have scored, medals I’ve won, how it's in my blood to play soccer, or that I want to show the world my skills.( but I do believe the world would LOVE to see my skills) That's just not me. Yes, I wanna play in college and I have goals and aspirations, but, in all honesty, I just want to play soccer. That's all I have ever wanted to do. That is what makes me a good candidate for most soccer teams. I don’t care about how many goals I score, how good of a pass I made or how great of a defender I was in that game. I care about three things. The team, the friendships, and the win. Soccer isn’t an “I” sport and I am not an “I” player. I am not winning, the team is.
My personality isn’t also what you would normally find,... how do I say this?... I'm crazy, but in a good way. My personality, confidence, and overall demeanor is through the roof. It honestly gets annoying after a while. But my craziness helps on the field. I am not afraid to correct my teammates' mistakes, compliment their great plays, and cheer them on. But that isn't what makes me a leader, what separates me from the rest is that while I correct them, I encourage them to correct me too. I want feedback, I want to get better.
Not only am I a leader on the soccer field, I am a leader in the classroom and on other fields as well. I am a straight A student in all of my classes and I have a 3.7 GPA. I always strive to not only be the best on the field, but in the classroom as well. I play three other sports other than soccer, basketball, track and field (hurdles) and flag football. I was the youngest to make varsity my sophomore year and am captain of my team. My biggest achievement is in the inaugural sport of flag football. My first year playing was my junior year. The Jets and Giants teamed with Nike and if we made the finals, we would play at MetLife (GIant’s) stadium. As I love being the center of attention and sports loving freak, I KNEW I had to play there. In the end, my team made it to Metlife stadium with me as their leader. I scored 59 points in 7 games. I scored 2 touchdowns in METLIFE STADIUM?!?!?! What 17 year old girl can say that… If you want to know if I won at Metlife, you're going to have to call me personally with an offer for a college scholarship...
In all, I am not the average person. I am a soccer loving, crazy leader who will help your team win in any situation. I am the person you need for your soccer team...
