My freshman year we lost in the first round of sectionals. By us not making it very far, I learned that as a team and personally, we had to work harder. The experience after freshman year helped me grow stronger with becoming a forward. I feel that I learned the most about myself and as a player my sophomore year. When we would lose a game it pushed me harder to win the next one and out play the way I played the game before.
As a sophomore we made it to sectional finals, which taught me the value of leadership, commitment, sacrifice and teamwork as we grew stronger from my freshman year. The program that I am looking to fill a lifetime experience needs to fit not only athletically but also academically. As a three-sport athlete, I believe I have the work-ethic, leadership skills, character, and talent to impact your program along with your team.
