My name is Courtney Keehner and I am a 5'4" 130 lb. right-wing. Soccer in my family was always our family sport, it started with my older brother from the age he was three and continued with each one of us. Even though my older brother quit at a young age my sister continued to play all the way up to high-school. She was my inspiration and my goal was to be just as smart or even smarter as a player. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My aspirations are to continue to play the game I grew up loving while being capable of studying biology with a pre-med track. I hope to expand my studies to become a successful obstetrician. I have been with my current travel team since I was 12 years old and even though we are a small league, we were able to win states and regionals in the spring season to get us to W. Virginia and Colorado. My team is 2018 & 2019 USYS ENY State Cup Champions, 2018 & 2019 USYS Regional Championship Qualifier, 2019 USCS NY State Cup Champs, and 2021 USCS National Cup XX Champs. I train all year round on and off the field and I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker both on and off the field. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college soccer career, I will strive to be an asset to the offensive as well as defensive positions. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, and the school I attend.
