Courtney Key '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a Monroe Woodbury High School student in Woodbury, New York. I'm graduating in 2022, with an academic interest in business. Soccer has always been a huge part in my life. My dad has coached me, and my 3 siblings, made a soccer field in our backyard, and spent hours making sure we all got to our practices and games. Soccer isn't just a game, but an outlet from reality. Every time I lace up my boots, and touch a soccerball, I forget about the test I have tomorrow, or the essay I have to write. It clears my mind, and has made me who I am today. My abilities to make friendships, communicate in numerous ways, work and listen to people in groups, and persevere in my studies and athletics all have soccer to thank. I am a strong, skillful player that is able to read the play well, while staying in good position on the field. I can control the ball and make fast decisions that are crucial for center backs. I feel I would be a great candidate for your team, and can bring great qualities on and off the field.
