Earliest soccer memories bring thoughts of my bright orange YMCA t-shirt, velcro shin guards and picking daisies, as game play blew by. As my skills and interest in the game grew, I gave club level a whirl and have never looked back.
Reflecting on the game as a whole, from coaches to teammates, training, travel and more, soccer has been integral in my development as a person and a player. On the field, I feel challenged, but I also find support and confidence from others, and extend the same to my peers.
As I set forth in pursuit of my goals, I dedicate countless time and effort into all I do. This passion and dedication help me maintain a High Honor Roll 4.0 GPA. I am recognized as an “Accelerated Honors Student” and a “Varsity Scholar Athlete.” In balancing team training, I also work with a strength trainer and soccer trainers to enhance my fitness, endurance, stamina and mental fortitude. I am active in several school clubs, volunteer with my church and participate in other worthwhile community activities. I set standards, work to exceed expectations and see no boundaries to success.
Across the years, my coaches, teachers, teammates and parents have fostered and supported a work ethic and mental mindset I know will enable me to fulfill my dream of attending a university that will offer the best of both worlds; a strong soccer program and quality academic programming. My goal is to be the best soccer player and teammate in playing at the next level.
