Shannon Platt '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer almost my whole life, when I am on the field with a ball at my feet it is the best feeling in the world. I have played many different sports but nothing feels as amazing as soccer. I always make sure my school work gets done, being a student athlete it makes it challenging but it always gets done. Throughout my years of soccer I have had some difficult situations but I try to make the best of every one and be a leader. Soccer has given me some of my best friends and taught me some of life’s greatest lessons. Even though soccer is very important to me so is my education, so I try my best to get very good grades. My parents always taught me that grades are most important aside from sports because it will influence your future and that has always stuck with me. Being on many different teams has showed me so many ways to look at life. Winning is the best feeling in the world but so is connecting with your team to play good. Every day I work hard to be the best player I can be. As my years of school continue I want to continue to play soccer in college and study in the medical field.
