Soccer brings out the best traits in me because I want to be successful as a player and teammate. My coaches have told me that I lead by example, whether by treating every practice drill like I'm in a game or motivating and communicating with my team both on and off the field. I earned the respect of my teammates, especially the upperclassman this year when I started playing varsity, because I earned opportunities at defensive positions. I'm also mature enough to know when to be serious and when to play around. I carry this dedication into the classroom, where I am currently taking three honors classes, an AP course and college credit Accounting course. My current average is a 94 because of the time and effort I put into my studies and projects. I want to play soccer in college because it's the sport I'm most passionate about and have dedicated the most time to because I enjoying playing. I hope to get the opportunity to do so.
