Samantha Saxen '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Saxen I have always loved playing soccer, practicing with my teammates on individual skills and team strategies is what makes the game such a joy. In 2017 while competing on the South NYS ODP team at the ODP camp at Gettysburg College, soccer became my passion. The camp gave me a taste of what playing soccer at a college would be like, that experience made me realize my passion and drive to want to play soccer in college. 

I am a Defender from Patchogue New York and will graduate from Patchogue Medford High School in 2020. I am a two year varsity starter for my high school team, this past season I was voted to first team All League and first team All Conference.  I am interested in attending college in the South due to the warmer climate. I am looking for a large size school with a great college town atmosphere. I believe with my work ethic and character, I can contribute to any program on the field and in the classroom.
