I am passionate about soccer. I have played every year since kindergarten. I started in recreational soccer then moved to travel soccer for more competitive play. I was a member of the modified team in junior high school and then advanced to the junior varsity team. I currently am a member of both: varsity and club soccer teams. I am a starting player.
I keep a good perspective of my team in play. I guide my teammates in closing gaps and potential weak areas. I am coachable-I strive for improvement and I take criticism well. I am a successful student, with a GPA of 3.8, in a high-performance high school. I take my studies seriously and I enjoy a challenge. I don't try to take the easy route. I have been taking honors and AP courses since my sophomore year. I am disciplined in both academics and soccer. Most of all, I enjoy being part of a team. After all, very rarely in life, do you do things alone.
I'm very much looking forward to my college experience and embarking in the field of medicine. I'm looking forward to developing and growing as a student as well as a athlete. I hope to be able to learn how to be the best version of myself, before stepping out into the professional world. I have played several sports over the years, but I have never given up soccer. I would be honored to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level.
