I am a highly self-motivated person who sets high goals for myself and works hard to reach the highest level in both academics and sports. I am determined personally to help drive my teammates to reach the highest level of soccer competition and recognition possible. I also recognize that it is very important to be a great person on and off the field and am determined to be the best I can be off the field, in the classroom and in the community.
The Scholar Athlete Award I won as a Freshman at Suffern High School and the introduction at the presentation ceremony sums up who I am as a person and as an athlete:
"Kailey is a true leader with a likeable personality, who inspires excellence in herself and drives those around her to follow suit. This well rounded young woman works hard and is determined to make her dreams become a realityin both academics and in athletics. Kailey's dream is to play for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team and I look forward to seeing her on the big stage."
